If you’ve been patiently waiting for a jailbreak for the last few months, then your wait is finally over. Not all but for most of you.
Pangu hacking team today released a new jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.3 . The tool can also work for older versions of iOS —9.2 to be exact. If the device is not already running one of those iOS versions, then you will need to install iOS 9.3.3 or iOS 9.3.2 since Apple is still currently signing both of these firmware versions. Currently, the tool is only available in chinese , hence you probably have to wait for a month or so in order to grab English version. Also, the tool is available for Windows machines only. If you don’t own a Windows machine, you can use a virtual machine setup to perform the jailbreak.

The tool doesn’t work for iOS 10. Perhaps , you would need to downgrade your version in order to use it.
Let’s see how to do it.
How to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 with Pangu
Step #1 Connect your iOS device to your Windows PC or Windows virtual machine. Make sure you have installed iTunes already on your windows.
Step #2 Download the tool [available only in chinese] from the official Pangu website. An updated tutorial and video will be released for the English version.
Step# 3 Turn off Find My iPhone on your iOS device.
Step #4 Run the pphelper installer to install the PP 5.0 tool. Click the button that appears to proceed with installation. Once the installation finishes, Launch the PP 5.0 tool.
Step #5 Then click the green button to download the necessary components for the jailbreak.
Step 6# Enter a dummy Apple ID. Never use your primary Apple ID that contains all of your personal data. Once you’ve entered the Apple ID, click the green button below the sign-in boxes and wait for the app to deploy to your iOS device. Once the process complete, click the green button to proceed.
Step 7# Tap the email address on the Device Management page that appears on your iOS device. Tap Trust to finish the deployment.
Step 8# Launch the jailbreak tool by moving back to your Home screen.
Step 9# Enable Notifications, and uncheck the box below the circle.
Step 10: Tap the circle and then lock your device
Step 11: After waiting for couple of seconds, Unlock your device again, and you should now see Cydia on your Home screen.
Sadly, the latest tool is semi-untethered, which means that when you restart or switch off your device (that includes running out of battery), you’ll need to re-jailbreak — Just Repeat steps 10 and 11.

Jailbreaking allows you to customize iOS in ways not made possible through iTunes. You can add more options to the control center, tweak or add animations and shortcuts and choose from thousands of exciting apps and tweaks in the Cydia jailbreak store. However as this is a brand new jailbreak tool, so it will likely be buggy. It might be best to wait until a few revisions to the tool are made, so proceed with caution.
