Nintendo announces more iPhone games, including Animal Crossing and Fire emblem
Few weeks ago, Nintendo released its first iPhone game, Miitomo , attracting over 10 million user base all over the world. Successful debut in the mobile game industry led company give a shot to the next round, announcing (via. tweet) new games, including Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem to be treated for mobile versions.
According to Gematsu Fire Emblem will be more accessible while Animal Crossing will be able to connect to the world of Animal Crossing on Nintendos consoles.
Animal Crossing is a life simulation game, where players can create and control a village full of humanoid animals . Being a mayor, you can decorate houses with different layouts both inside-out, decide which facilities get built, change shop hours and more to let you experience Animal Crossing however you like.
Fire Emblem on the other hand ,is a traditional Nintendo 3DS fighter RPG game where you have to lead an army of soldiers in a series of scaled turn-based strategy battles. You have to develop relationships with your team, utilizing their special abilities on the battlefield to gain victory and advance the story. Scoring 90/100 points at EuroGamer Italy, the game was highly appreciated and proclaimed as the One of the most ambitious game on 3DS.
The company is yet to confirm how it plans to monetize its titles. It is also unclear whether Nintendo will ever let its flagship top-tier IP games, like Mario or Zelda, appear outside its own consoles.
